Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MetaPult (“we”, “us”) collects when you use metamonster.app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions can go to support@metamonster.app.

Information we collect

• Account data — if you create an account we store your email address and an authentication identifier. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
• Content you create — decks you build, match log entries and any game footage you upload for coaching analysis.
• Usage data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and referring site.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used for keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, measuring traffic and serving advertising.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

How we use it

To operate your account, save and display your decks and matches, produce aggregate metagame statistics, keep the service secure, and fund the site through advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage. It sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising and Google AdSense

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
• Where required by law (EEA, UK and Switzerland), advertising and analytics cookies are only set after you consent through the consent banner, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the banner link in the footer. Uploaded game footage

Video you submit for coaching is processed to extract still frames, which are sent to an AI provider to generate feedback. Footage is not published, sold, or used to train third-party models beyond producing your review.

Data sharing

We share data only with service providers that make the site work: our hosting and database/authentication provider, analytics, advertising partners, and AI providers used for article generation and coaching. Each processes data under its own terms.

Retention and your rights

Account content is kept until you delete it or ask us to close your account. Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will action verified requests.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with row-level access controls so users can only read their own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep exposure minimal.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version. See also our Terms of Service.
